The compact body of the flashlight is made of extremely durable polycarbonate, which guarantees durability and provides protection from rain and dust ( IP66 rating).

The Fenix BC22R flashlight uses a powerful Luminus SST40 LED that emits a maximum light output of 1400 lumens with a range of 156 m. Unlike standard bicycle flashlights, the optical system has been designed in such a way as not to blind other traffic users. The headlamp is equipped with a cut-off line, which blocks the upper part of the light beam. As a result, the flashlight illuminates only the road in front of the wheel up to the height of the handlebars, without adversely affecting the ability of drivers and pedestrians to see.

The energy source is the built-in ARB-L18 battery with a capacity of 3400 mAh, which, when charged, provides 2 hours and 20 minutes of operation in maximum mode and 41 hours in low 50 lumen mode. The battery is charged via USB-C port, so we don't have to worry about buying a charger and spare batteries. We can control the battery charge level thanks to the LED indicator, which simply and clearly informs us about the energy status.

The Fenix BC22R offers 4 continuous light modes: turbo, high, medium and low, and flashing light. One large button is used to turn on/off and change brightness, which also activates the battery level indicator. Simple and intuitive operation is a definite advantage for any cyclist, especially in busy urban areas.

The flashlight remembers the last used brightness level. When you turn it on again, the flashlight automatically activates in this mode (memory function). A low battery warning is automatically activated when the defined voltage level drops (flashing battery level indicator LED). The flashlight also uses overheating protection in turbo mode. For the safety of the electronics, the driver automatically reduces the brightness by a few lumens when it reaches 60° C, allowing the turbo mode to be switched back on.
